Patio heaters for home
Veito infrared carbon-fibre solutions for residential terraces, pergolas, verandas and relaxation areas. Choose the model according to space exposure, installation type and how you want to use the terrace.
Heat the area where you are, when you need it
For a residential terrace, flexibility and positioning can matter more than heating the entire surface.
Terrace and relaxation area
Switch on the heating when the terrace is being used, without a long preheating period for the entire space.
Stand or fixed installation
A stand allows repositioning, while wall mounting keeps the floor clear and the layout tidy.
Heating level
Depending on the model, you can have power levels, remote control, timer or thermostat.
Radiant heat for terrace, pergola and veranda
Why is the heat felt quickly?
Infrared heating transfers energy to people and surfaces within the heater's range instead of first heating the entire air volume.
The carbon-fibre heating element used in Veito models responds quickly after start-up, making it suitable for on-demand use.
In a semi-open area, the heater should be directed towards where people are seated, not towards empty space.

For home use, choose the heater according to how you use the terrace
A terrace used occasionally in the evening has different needs from a veranda used daily or a pergola exposed to wind.
In a home, terrace heating is usually used on demand. The heater is switched on when the family uses the relaxation area, outdoor dining table or veranda, rather than to maintain a constant temperature throughout the entire space. For this reason, the rapid thermal response of a radiant heater can be more useful than a solution that must gradually heat the whole air volume.
For a pergola or fully open terrace, directing the heater towards where people are seated is essential. For an enclosed veranda or covered terrace, models designed for more protected spaces may also be suitable. The right choice should not be based only on square metres, but on exposure and the distance between the heater and the occupied area.
If the terrace is frequently rearranged, a stand model provides freedom of positioning. If the furniture stays in the same area, wall mounting can be more discreet and practical in the long term.
Open terrace
Heater protection and direction towards the seating area are key criteria.
Pergola
The height of the structure, open sides and the option for fixed installation all matter.
Veranda
In protected spaces, models with different protection ratings and installation types can be considered.
How to estimate patio-heater consumption at home
Nominal power × operating time
A 2.5 kW heater operating for one hour can consume up to about 2.5 kWh when running at maximum power. If the model has several power levels, consumption depends on the selected level and actual operating time.
For residential use, the practical advantage is that the heater can be switched on only when the terrace is occupied. Continuous operation before the area is used is not necessary because radiant heat is felt quickly.
The available electrical circuit should be checked before installation. Heaters of 2–2.5 kW are significant loads, and sockets, cables and protective devices must be suitable.
Fixed installation or stand: the choice depends on how stable the layout is
Wall / ceiling mounting

Radiant heating is especially useful when you want to extend the terrace season
For many homes, the purpose of a patio heater is not use on the coldest winter days, but extending the period in which the terrace can be used comfortably. In spring, autumn and cool summer evenings, a radiant heater can provide rapid heat exactly where people are seated.
The result depends on how exposed the space is. A terrace protected on the sides will retain comfort better than one that is fully open and exposed to wind. The same power can therefore feel different in two homes with similar terrace areas.
For outdoor use, Blade S and Nevada 2500 are important options because of IP55 protection. For verandas, protected spaces or covered terraces, CH2500RW or Nevada 2 kW may be more suitable depending on positioning and each model's instructions.
How to choose a Veito heater by type of home terrace
An open terrace, a pergola, a veranda and a large balcony do not have the same heat losses or the same installation options.
For afully open terrace, the heater should be chosen primarily according to outdoor protection, positioning and distance from the seating area. In such spaces, Blade S and Nevada 2500 are relevant because they are intended for outdoor use and have IP55 protection.
For apergola, things may be simpler if the structure provides a stable roof and one or two side walls. Fixed installation on the wall or structure can be used, and the heater can be precisely directed towards the main table or sofa. In such a configuration, radiation distribution and mounting height become very important.
For averanda or covered terrace, models designed for more protected spaces, such as CH2500RW or Nevada 2 kW, can also be considered. The choice must reflect the actual exposure because an enclosed glass veranda behaves differently from a covered terrace open on three sides.
For alarge balcony or loggia, available space may limit the use of a stand. In such situations, fixed installation and careful direction towards the area where people sit can be more practical.
Protection and orientation
The priority is choosing a model suitable for outdoor use and directing it towards the occupied area.
Fixed installation
The structure allows elegant integration of the heater and stable positioning relative to the table or relaxation area.
Protected space
Different models may become suitable compared with a fully exposed terrace, depending on the degree of enclosure and protection.
What carbon-fibre heating means in a residential space
The carbon-fibre heating element is what provides rapid thermal response and transfers infrared radiation towards the occupied area.
Rapid thermal response for on-demand use
At home, the heater is often used for short periods: in the evening, at the table, in the relaxation area or at weekends. This is why the ability to deliver radiant heat quickly is important.
Directional radiation
Energy is directed towards people and surfaces, not the entire air volume.
Optimised reflector
The reflector helps direct energy towards the area where comfort is needed.
Power-level control
Depending on the model, you can adjust the power level, timer or thermostat for more flexible use.
Blade S, Nevada 2500, CH2500RW or Nevada 2 kW?
| Model | Where to choose it | Main advantage | Installation | User profile |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Blade S 2500W | Outdoor terrace | Slim design + IP55 | Fixed / stand, depending on version | Premium home, pergola, modern terrace |
| Nevada 2500 | Outdoor terrace | Flexibility with / without stand | Fixed / stand | Flexible use and repositioning |
| CH2500RW | Protected terrace / veranda | Fixed installation and control | Wall / ceiling | Stable configuration |
| Nevada 2 kW | Indoor / veranda | Compact vertical format | Vertical | Protected spaces and localised use |
If the terrace is exposed to moisture and wind, Blade S and Nevada 2500 are the most natural starting points. If the space is protected and you want a fixed heater, CH2500RW may be more suitable. For indoor use or a veranda, Nevada 2 kW offers a different, vertical format suitable for localised heating.
The choice should not be based only on appearance or power. It is more important first to determine where the heater will be installed, how exposed the space is and whether you want mobility or permanent installation.
Remote control, timer and thermostat make home use easier
Control without interrupting your relaxation
On the home terrace, remote controlis useful for switching on, switching off and changing the power level directly from the seating area. If the heater is mounted on the wall or ceiling, this type of control becomes almost essential for convenient use.
The timeris suitable for evenings when you want heat for a limited period. You can set the heater to run only while you are using the terrace, without having to return later to switch it off.
On models that have athermostat, the function is more useful in verandas, enclosed terraces or protected spaces where ambient temperature can be monitored more consistently. On a fully open terrace, wind and constant air exchange make strict control by ambient temperature less relevant than orientation and power level.
For residential use, therefore, it is not enough to compare only wattage. It is also worth choosing according to how often you will use the heater and what type of control makes its use more natural.

Veito heaters for home
Which heater should I choose for a fully open terrace?
For outdoor use, Blade S and Nevada 2500 can be considered, both with IP55 protection. Positioning and the terrace's real exposure remain important.
What should I choose for a veranda or covered terrace?
You can consider CH2500RW, Nevada 2 kW and other models intended for protected spaces, depending on installation and site conditions.
Is a stand model more practical?
A stand is useful if you want to reposition the heater. Fixed installation is more discreet and keeps the floor clear.
Is area in m² enough for selection?
No. Wind, openness, mounting height and distance from the occupied area also matter.
Does an infrared heater need to be left on permanently?
One advantage of rapid thermal response is on-demand use when the area is occupied, within the heater's operating instructions.
Where can I find all models?
The Veito category brings together carbon-fibre models, while the individual guides explain the differences between Blade S, Nevada and CH2500RW.
